John moved to Colorado in 1982. Prior to that he was a CPA in Illinois. John is leading our firm into the 21st century by overseeing the firm's computers, software and other technology enhancements. He enjoys working with clients on innovative tax planning, tax compliance, business entity selection, accounting software and financial statement preparation. Also, John has been active in establishing our business consulting division and working with business owners to grow their business. He works with a variety of clients including retail, service, construction, manufacturing and not-for-profit organizations.

Ramin was born in Portland, Oregon and raised in Kentucky and Texas. He received his BBA in International Business and Finance from The University of Texas- Austin, and a Master's in Accounting from the University of Houston. He began his professional career with a large local CPA firm in Houston. He previously worked for a large multi-state telecommunications company in Houston and a start-up broadband company in Colorado prior to joining JBSK. Ramin joined JBSK in 2001 and became a Partner in 2003.

Ramin is married with two daughters, ages 9 and 6, and an 18-month old son. He is the Treasurer of the Rotary Club of St Vrain and has previously served on the Finance Committee of the St Vrain Family Center. He enjoys sports, especially University of Texas athletics, and spending time with his kids

Larry is a former managing partner of JBSK CPAs LLP and presently limits his practice to client consultation on tax matters and supports the firm as counsel on the various tax and practice issues the firm deals with. Graduating from Colorado University he has been a practicing CPA in Colorado since 1966. His many years of experience in all phases of public accounting have given him a broad base to draw from in service to clients. In addition, Larry has become one of the leading authorities on tax-deferred exchanges of property under Code Section 1031. He is vice-president and founder of 1031 Corporation, Exchange Professionals, a qualified intermediary offering exchange services nationally for 21 years. 1031 Corporation became part of FirstBank of Colorado in 2006 and Larry continues to consult clients on complicated 1031 Exchange issues.

Carolyn moved to Longmont in 1982 and has been on the Longmont Sister Cities board for 10 years. She has experience in individual, business, estate and non-profit taxation.

Amy is a third generation Native of Colorado, having been born and raised in the Denver Metro area. It was as a senior at Boulder High School, that she discovered her love of accounting. Amy attended Colorado State University where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. Before coming to JBSK, Amy worked in Medical Billing and for a 401(k) Plan Administrator. When not hard at work she can be found at home with her husband and son, at the bowling alley, or out enjoying the beautiful Colorado skies either in a Jeep or on her Harley.

Jennifer was born and raised in Wisconsin. She has lived in China and most recently Ontario, Canada. Jennifer joined the firm in Dec, 2010 after moving to Colorado from Ontario. She has worked in the accounting profession for over 10 years and graduated with a Bachelors Degree in International Business and a Masters Degree in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. Prior to joining the firm, she worked for Deloitte & Touche as an auditor. Jennifer is a licensed CPA in Colorado and Illinois.
